Toolbox 1

Maintenance & Light Repair

Bumper-to-Bumper Service Readiness

Built for students entering general automotive service careers, this toolbox is designed to support bumper-to-bumper maintenance and repair work from day one.

Includes tools for:

- Engine diagnostics

- Brake service

- Bumper-to-bumper service needs

This toolbox allows graduates to step directly into a service bay with the tools required for real-world automotive work.

Toolbox 2

Collision & Body Work

Collision & Refinishing Career Path

Designed for students pursuing careers in body and collision repair, this toolbox supports the tools needed for restoration, refinishing, and structural work.

Includes tools for:

- Panel repair

- Sanding & prep

- Body alignment

- Detailing

- Collision restoration

This toolbox equips graduates to begin work immediately in a body shop environment without the financial barrier of purchasing tools upfront.

How the Foundation Works

Here’s how your support turns into real opportunity.

Community Support & Donations

Each year, funds are raised through our annual car show and online donations from generous supporters and local businesses.

Purchasing Fully-Loaded Toolboxes

Donations are used to purchase two professional-grade toolboxes typically valued at $1,500-$2,500.

• One box focused on Maintenance & Light Repair
• One box focused on Collision & Body Work

These toolboxes remove the financial barrier for students entering the auto industry.

Awarded at Year-End Ceremony

The toolboxes are presented to two graduating auto-program seniors at their end-of-year ceremony the following year. Southern Highschool staff and administration hand-select the students based on growth and career-readiness.

Example:
The 2025 Car Show funds toolboxes awarded in May 2026.

Real Students. Real Toolboxes. Real Impact.

These moments represent more than a gift, they represent the start of a career. Take a look at the students and toolboxes made possible by your support.
